Here’s a great article on meditation and other activities to help you stay mindful in each moment. Mindfulness is especially important when learning to cope with the intensity of the various emotions that rise up during the grieving process. I’m always suggesting to my clients to stay in those moments, lean into them rather than away from them, to feel the feelings and experience it fully. That’s much harder to do than it sounds! Practicing mindfulness can help. Learning to focus on the moment, the now, allows you to ‘see’ all aspects of each moment.
