About Me

Lisa B. Wolfe, LMSW

You can read a much more personal About Me in my blog post found here.  It’s so much better than what is written below…which is essentially an advertisement for my business…which is a reflection of me, but not actually me…

Learning to interpret your personal grief journey

Translating Grief, LLC is a unique way to provide bereavement counseling.  By utilizing the telephone or video chat, and without a physical location, counseling is:

o   Available to all regardless of geographic locations or ability to travel

o   Convenient to all by offering flexible scheduling for appointments

o   Private for all by allowing you to stay in the comfort of your own home

Counseling is provided for any adult experiencing:

o   The death of a  person

o   The death of a pet

o   A terminal illness, a life-limiting illness or love someone with either

o   Other grief (job loss, divorce/break up, relocation…)

Translating Grief is owned and operated by a New York State licensed master’s level social worker with over twelve years of experience working with people who were dying and their families, before and after their death.  Lisa offers compassion, education and practical tools and techniques for coping throughout the process of grieving.  Each client will be treated as the unique individual they are, with unique grief reactions and unique strengths and resources.
